Abbey Coffin is an associate in Donoghue, Barrett & Singal’s Health Law practice where she provides services and consultation to hospitals, clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, physician groups, nursing homes, assisted living residences, EMS providers and home health agencies.
Abbey advises clients on a broad range of issues, including general business matters, employment matters, regulatory compliance, data privacy and security, compliance planning and policy development, fraud and abuse, and government investigations and enforcement actions.
Prior to joining Donoghue Barrett & Singal, Abbey worked at Boston Children’s Hospital in various roles. Most recently, she was a Contracts Specialist in the Technology & Innovation Development Office where she was responsible for drafting and negotiating a variety of basic science and clinical research agreements. Abbey has interned with the Honorable Elspeth B. Cypher, Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Appeals Court. While in law school, Abbey served as an articles editor on the Suffolk University Law Review.
